Stop Here If You Hate Your Bathroom

Hate is a strong word, but you know the feeling you get when you go to a hotel and the bathroom is dingy, small, and filled with fluorescent lighting? It has certainly seen better days. And it doesn’t make you want to soak in the tub, let’s just say that!

According to the National Association of Realtors Remodeling Survey, a bathroom remodel is a top ranked project that appeals to home buyers – not surprising, right?!

So, if you’ve been watching the market and thinking about putting your house up for sale, this room isn’t one you want placed in the category of “ugly hotel bathroom.”

If your bathroom needs a little freshening up (whether you’re selling your home or not), you’re in the right spot!

Here are some go to tips to renew your bathroom on any budget.

Step 1: Time to remove the basic frameless mirror and swap it for an on-trend mirror.
This is the easiest swap you can do to take your bathroom from “meh” to magical.

Step 2: Biggest bang for your buck – Add a new cabinet and bath hardware for a major facelift. Amazon is a great go to for hardware (just make sure to measure before you “one click buy”)!

Step 3: Hotel it up with white towels – there is something about white towels that evokes a luxury resort feel, and who doesn’t want to live that life every day?! Hang 2 white towels from hooks on the wall and then roll up additional white towels and put them in a basket on the ground by the tub or on a shelf.

Last but not least, it’s time to bring the outdoors in with a few pops of greenery.
Fill a vase with fresh eucalyptus, add it to a decorative stool next to the tub, and then place a brand new rug right in front.

There you have it! Who’s off to DIY their bathroom this week?
