The All-Electric 2023 EQE has arrived. It is a smaller version of the Mercedes EQS. It has a large cabin and is styled like the EQS. It also has the optional Hyperscreen that extends the full width of the dashboard. The EQE has a range of about 300 miles and can be fast charged in about 30 minutes. It comes in two distinct levels the EQE 350 which has 288hp and is rear wheel drive and the 402hp dual motor and is all wheel drive.
How’s The Power?
The EQE 350 has 288hp and will go from 0-60 in 5.6 seconds and is capable of 130mph. The all wheel drive has a 402hp and both are amazingly quiet.
Range Charging and Battery Life
The EQE 350 has a 90.6k-WH battery pack which will give it a range of about 300 miles. Using a 240 volt Level 2 charger it will charge in about 9.5 hours. However, if the DC fast charger is used it will only take 30 minutes to charge from 10-80 percent.
What is the Interior Like? Does it Have Enough Cargo Space?
Yes, there is plenty of cargo space for that Costco run, sports equipment etc. The interior, as you would expect from Mercedes is just wonderful. The front seats are both heated and ventilated and there is an option for a massage function. The EQE has a panoramic sunroof and the lighting is quite unique when in use. There are also many options that are available to further the driving experience.
Infotainment and Connectivity
The EQE’s standard infotainment system has a 12.3 inch touchscreen. Its fingerprint scanner allows the passengers to access their profiles. Also standard is the Burmester sound system and of course Apple Car Play and Android Auto.
Then there is the optional Hyperscreen. Measuring 56 inches long, it combines a 12.3 inch digital gauge cluster screen, a 17.inch central touchscreen and a 12.3 inch touchscreen for the front passenger.
Navigation with Electric Intelligence factors the elements of electric driving into its calculations, available charge, charging stations en route, the drivers driving style etc.
