The 2023 Night for Enable Garden Party annual fundraiser will take place at the Historic Huntsville Depot Roundhouse on Thursday, March 30th, from 5:30 pm to 9:00 pm. Enable Madison County, formerly known as CASA of Madison County, has served our aging and homebound neighbors in North Alabama for more than 40 years. Our services enable our neighbors to live in their homes independently, safely, and with dignity. Our clients are possibly your neighbor, relative, retired colleague, past teacher, or even the guy who managed your favorite restaurant. Many of the 2700+ individuals that our donors and volunteers support have nowhere else to turn for basic life needs and often no one in their life to help.
A volunteer-driven agency, Enable Madison County provides multiple services for our clients including building wheelchair ramps, installing grab bars and handrails, transportation to medical appointments, providing produce from the Enable garden, delivering holiday meals , winterizing homes, and wellness calls and visits. With the increasing costs of lumber and other supplies, and the growth of our client list, this year’s fundraising efforts are more important than ever.
The event will feature dinner from Chef on Call Catering by Laura Zelenka, music from Metropolitan DJ, “Best in the Garden” raffle prizes, and a Garden Party theme, complete with garden-worthy plants as centerpieces for purchase. Author and speaker, Jim Owens, will keep the evening motivating as Master of Ceremonies. Thanks go to Presenting Sponsor, Torch Technologies, for continuing to support our mission.
