This EQS is a great alternative to the EQS sedan because it offers a third row of seats for seating of up to seven. It’s also available with the 56 inch Hyperscreen that stretches across the dashboard. It is split into 2 models, the EQS 450+ and the EQS 580. The 580 will be all wheel drive and they have adaptive air suspension, rear axle steering, heated and ventilated front seats, a Burmester sound system and lots more.
Power and Performance
The EQS 450+ features a 335hp electric motor that powers the rear wheels. The EQS 580 has 536hp and 630 pound-feet of torque between its front and rear mounted motor, which gives it all wheel drive capabilities. It also features an Off-Road Drive Mode that raises the suspension and alters the power train behavior.
Range, Charging and Battery Life
The EQS SUV uses the same 107.8kWh battery pack as the EQS sedan which is EPA rated between 340-350 miles of range. The EQS SUV can charge at speeds up to 200kw, which will take the battery from 10-80 percent in 31 minutes using a compatible DC charger.

The EQS SUV is the definition of the Mercedes Benz high tech and luxury materials. Standard interior features include, ambient lighting, heated and ventilated front seats, leather upholstery, panoramic sun roof and wireless charging. It has plenty of cargo and storage space, perfect for SUV fans.

The EQS SUV can be equipped with the 56 inch Hyperscreen. It has a 17.7 inch touchscreen that’s responsible for the infotainment functions, plus a 12.3 inch touchscreen in front of the passenger. Every EQS SUV has wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, a Burmester audio system and wireless device charging.
Safety and Driver Assistance Features
We all know that Mercedes is all about safety. In addition to adaptive cruise control and automatic high beams, the EQS SUV also has a self parking feature.
