Merino Trampoline Gymnastics Academy is a family-owned business dedicated to the physical education of children utilizing the fun environment of Gymnastics. Our academy offers both recreational and competitive classes for all ages!
We opened Merino Trampoline Gymnastics Academy (MTGA), in January of 2017. Our primary mission is to create opportunities for boys and girls to learn and grow through the fun environment of Trampoline and Tumbling Gymnastics, where they can learn essential skills and life lessons in ways that are consistent with best practices in youth athletics. At MTGA we aspire to provide an outstanding educational-athletic program that offers a high-quality experience to every athlete. A high-quality experience is one in which every athlete: is coached using the principles of positive coaching, has fun while learning, feels like an important part of the team regardless of performance, and learns “life lessons” that have value outside the gym.
We recognize that the coach is the one who most directly makes this all possible. It is our goal to provide every coach with tools to be successful as a Positive Coach. We are committed to creating a constructive culture in which coaches, parents, fans, officials, and athletes work together to achieve our mission.

Our one-hour recreational classes are comprised of a warmup, tumbling skills, trampoline skills, flexibility, strength & conditioning, Progressions of skills, terminology, and mental preparation. These qualities are foundational to success in ALL sport!
