Mercedes-Benz of Huntsville: Meet Andrew Clark, Sales Consultant

Tell Us About Your Background
Originally I am from Green Bay Wisconsin and moved to Florida (Bradenton/Sarasota) as a pre-teen. I have been in Huntsville for 16 years and absolutely love it. Our route to Huntsville was a little long and winding, but we feel so strong about living in Huntsville that our entire immediate family has relocated here.
I have always been in sales. I spent several years working for Lowes in project sales and previous to that I worked for ADT. When I lived in Florida, I was the Field Supervisor of my father’s construction company.

What Does The Mercedes Star Mean To You?
Uncompromising quality. Mercedes is not a follower, they are leaders. They lead in the industry and don’t worry about what others think or are doing. I guess you could say that they are the North Star of the automotive world. They are strong in who they are and what they want to do. Mercedes understands their clientele and knows what they need to do to keep them coming back.

What Is Your Favorite Mercedes Vehicle?
It’s the E 63 wagon. It’s the perfect wagon. You can take it to dinner at an exclusive restaurant or take it to Costco. It goes from 0-60 in 2.6 seconds which is faster than most vehicles on the road. If you would like to fit your Costco order in it that can easily be done.

Tell Us How You Interact With Your Customers
The biggest thing is figuring out what my customer needs from their vehicle. It’s really like putting a puzzle together. Sometimes they may have a preconceived idea of what’s important to them but in the end it may not be that important at all. My role is to be a counselor and also a facilitator, so that they find their perfect Mercedes.

What Would You Like The Readers of South Huntsville Neighbors To Know About You?
I love all things automotive. I am a passionate car guy who loves to interact with other car enthusiasts.
