The Holiday season is upon us! Our Annual Cookie Crunch and Small Business Saturday helped us kick off the Holiday season last month, and now it’s in full swing! Our businesses are welcoming shoppers as they look for that perfect gift to go under the tree. You can find everything you need for your Holiday celebrations in South Huntsville!
We are excited to have several Holiday events going on in the district during the month of December. Pixel Joe’s Photography & Video Studio is hosting Jingle & Mingle on Saturday December 4th. This event is a Christmas Market, featuring vendors, arcade games, photo booth and more! Free admission and fun for the whole family!
Santa is coming to the South Huntsville Library on Saturday December 10th! Bring the kids in their Christmas PJ’s and enjoy milk & cookies as you hear a bedtime story with Santa in the beautiful new Library. Tickets are available at the Friends of the Library Bookstore.
The South Huntsville Main Business Association is hosting our first Krampus Run on December 18th on the Greenway at Hays Farm. This is a first for South Huntsville and we are excited to work with Das Stahl Bierhaus to bring the German tradition of Krampus to our area. South Huntsville was home to some of the original German rocket scientists who settled here with Dr. Werner von Braun in 1950. We are looking forward to a great turnout for our inaugural run, so plan to join us! Just don’t get caught by Krampus!
