The Huntsville, Alabama chapter #353 of the National Sojourners Inc
(Mason Veterans), are proudly sponsoring a U.S. Flags retirement
ceremony. This will be a joint operation conducted by the
Twickenham-Milford chapter of the DeMolay the Mason boy’s youth
organization, with direct logistical support of the Veterans of Foreign
Wars (VFW), Post 2702 located at 2900 N. Memorial Parkway,
Huntsville AL, 35801. (Please see map below)
Date of this joint operation is October 16, 2021. From 1100 to 1400
hours, we will be accepting American flags needing retirement at the
VFW Post. A social hour will be from 1200 to 1300 hours in the main
hall with the retirement’s ceremony starting precisely at 1301 hour out
doors or in doors if needed with cake and refreshments served at 1400
Hours. This is a Masonic event for the public but veterans are strongly
encouraged to attend.
