Primary Instructor at SPARC, LLC
With COVID restrictions gradually being lifted, the landscape of college admissions and test prep has shifted and is still shifting. Some in-state universities are now superscoring. Other colleges are now test-optional.
At SPARC Test Prep, we are continually updating our resources to anticipate these changes and are excited to be offering a new line of services for the fall semester for all three college admissions exams.
ACT and SAT prep for the fall tests – Test prep in the fall is specialized towards two categories of students: seniors who still need to improve their ACT/SAT scores and juniors who want to get a head start for the spring. Private and small group packages are available as well as blended options for online and in-person instruction. Enrollment begins August 1.
PSAT prep for National Merit Scholarship – The PSAT is offered each year in October to juniors as the preliminary round for selection of National Merit Scholarship finalists. This course is designed for those students who have the capacity and drive to be in the upper 99th percentile of their class. Open enrollment for preparation for the PSAT begins this month. Sophomores are welcome to apply if space is available.
MATH Tutoring – Math tutoring is considered a part of our mission. The more confidence a student has in the classroom, the more confidence a student will have on college admissions tests. For many sophomores and juniors, their math class at school will be their first exposure to the more advanced math content on the ACT and SAT exams. Also, many juniors and seniors will be taking AP exams for math and physics in the spring. Math levels for private and small group tutoring include Algebra II, Precalculus, AP Calculus AB/BC, and AP Physics 1/2/C.
SPARC Test Prep has been a leading provider of test preparation in the state of Alabama since 2002 offering a full range of tutoring and college admission services specializing in preparation for the ACT, SAT, PSAT and AP exams. SPARC, LLC is exclusive to the Huntsville/Madison area of North Alabama.
